Rod Farris, Owner
Hello...
My name is Rod Farris. I am the owner and operator
of The Original Farris Frame Restorations located in
Pataskala, Ohio.
I graduated from Eastland Vocational School (Columbus, Ohio)
in 1975 fully certified in Acetylene, MIG, TIG and
Arc welding. At that time, I accepted a position with
SL Limited in Blacklick, Ohio repairing and restoring
the frames and undercarriages of Mercedes-Benz
Automobiles exclusively.
At the suggestion of a friend, I acquired my first shop
on Weldon Avenue in 1981, opening this very specialized
service to all makes and models of vehicles.
We moved to a larger facility on East 7th Avenue in 1983
and have expanded our work force. We moved from Columbus
to our current location in Pataskala in April, 2002.
Whether a simple repair such as rebuilding a shock tower
or a spot repair of a hole in a floor pan, or a complete
undercarriage restoration to “show quality” specifications,
we do it all. We fabricate our own parts in-shop, often of
heavier-than-original gauge steel. We use only the
highest quality materials available. We have yet to see a
project beyond our ability to restore.
A great amount of the work that we perform comes to us
from well-established automobile-related businesses which
require our services prior to the effective completion of
their work. We have completed restorations on vehicles
from all parts of the continental United States and have
even contracted work from Canada and Mexico.
At this time, we are open 7 days a week. Inspections
and estimates are available in-shop by appointment only
and, as always, at no charge to our clients.
